Design Engineer (Mechanical)

On behalf of our client in Rochdale, we are looking to recruit an experienced Design Engineer to join their team.
The Company
A well-established, privately owned business that designs, manufacture and installs bespoke engineered water treatment systems are experiencing growth and success worldwide in the marine, offshore oil and gas, and industrial markets. They are looking to expand their team of reliable and long-serving staff members.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Production of process flow diagrams, manufacturing, general arrangement, and details drawings using Solidworks 3D Modelling software, including main components, frame fabrication, pipework, and pressure vessels.
* Assist in the production of engineering designs and data sheets
* Assisting with preparation of Quality and Production plans
* Liaising with customers throughout contract life-cycle
* Preparation of parts lists work order and risk assessments
* Procurement, expediting, and liaising with sub-contractors
* Inspection of equipment both in house and at suppliers
* Working closely with workshop personnel to ensure the assembly of equipment is in a timely manner
* Visiting clients sites to complete site surveys
