Podium Recruitment are delighted to be partnering up with one of the UKs leading renewable Energy providers who are on the lookout for Electrical Design Engineers to join their Solar/PV team. The Successful Electrical Design Engineers will help offer the world's leading energy products in the market today, to not only save their customers money but also ensure they're in safe hands!
The Successful Electrical Design Engineers can look forward to joining an already renowned company that are growing at an exponential rate leading to with of progression opportunities. Furthermore, the Solar Maintenance Engineers will join an already successful team and earn a basic salary of between £30-£35k dependent on experience and attitude, in addition to additional training and benefits.
The Successful Commercial Electrical Design Engineer's duties will involve;
* System design, analysis, installation, and testing.
* Provide Technical Knowledge to colleagues and customers
* Deal with emergency situations as they arise on a day-to-day basis and ensure prompt and effective resolution of problems
* Provide detailed reports from site visits, evidencing issues with notes, photos, and videos.
* Attend training as and when required.
* Demonstrate commitment to Company policies and act in accordance with Company procedures as directed
* In addition, you are required to comply with any other reasonable request made of you by management, in line with job role, skills and experience.
The Commercial Electrical Design Engineer's will need;
* Must hold 18th edition Level 3 Certification
* Technical support experience in a relevant industry preferred / Customer service experience
* Hard-working, tenacious, and committed
* Competent in Solar PV design, use of PVsol advantageous
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
* Excellent time management and organisation skills
* Polite and professional, firm but fair customer service approach.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Experience of MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, (other computer applications)
* Must hold full driving license.
