Junior Designer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £19000 – £23000/annum
Based from our offices in Hook, Hampshire, you will create high quality visual assets as part of the creative team. With an eye for detail and the ability to work fast and faultlessly, you’re involved in the creative process from start to finish, working with the Creative Director, PR teams and content writers to develop ideas and solutions for our clients.
Managing your own workload, you have the ability to manage multiple projects at once, taking ownership of workload and delivering end results that surpass the initial brief.
Junior Designer Responsibilities:
• Execute various design projects from concept to completion for a range of clients
• Create unique ideas utilising digital design skills across web design, social, branding, infographics
• Desire to become a competent all-rounded creative designer
• Ensures all work meets the needs, requirements, and brand values of each client
• Produce work that is grammatically accurate and free from errors
• Keep abreast of current creative thinking, absorb and consider relevance of new
• ideas and techniques
• Support internal sales and marketing projects to create visual assets
• Collaborate with Creative Director and Senior Design to brainstorm ideas to get the best solution
Junior Designer Requirements:
• 1-2 years graphic design experience in agency, university or in house
• Excellent design skills using Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Excellent design skills and good knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
• Demonstrable interest in branding
• Good eye for typography and excellent layout skills, eye for detail
• Able to think pro-actively and learn quickly on the job
• Flexible and able to multitask as required
• Conceptual ability to think differently and come up with new ways to design
