The successful Design Engineer will join a force of dedicated individuals working hard to design, produce and ship their great products to some world leading businesses that I can guarantee you will have heard of before!
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be a key member of the growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform 3D CAD development, working with customer surface / packaging data, from concept through to serial production.
Create high quality, precise Engineering Drawings & progress them through our Engineering Change Management process.
Report project progress to Lead Design Engineer, ensuring all time, cost, quality & weight targets are met.
Communicate effectively & professionally with Customers, Suppliers & Colleagues.
Skills and Experience:
Recent experience of using CAD a distinct advantage.
Mechanical engineering degree (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience, within a mechanical engineering field, desirably within aerospace or automotive.
Excellent communication skills, verbal & written.
Team player, enthusiastic with a positive 'can do' attitude.
