Conrad Consulting are pleased to be working with a fast growing Architectural practice based in Nottingham city centre, seeking an experienced Architect to join their growing team.

This Nottingham city centre based practice have been established for well over 20 years in which time they have developed a strong portfolio across numerous sectors including; Residential, Education, Commercial/Office Buildings, and some Leisure. Despite being a relatively small team, the practice boast a portfolio which could rival larger scale practices throughout the Midlands region.

Due to sustained growth and an ever increasing pipeline of work, the practice are looking to add an experienced Architect to the practice, along with an Architectural Technologist at intermediate level. The Architect will start out predominantly working in the Residential sector, but this will diversify as time goes on. Eventually, the practice would like the Architect in this role to become a work winner, meaning individuals with experience, or an interest in, business development would be ideal.

The practice used AutoCAD as their dominant software, although Revit is also integrated into the business. Architects with experience across both software packages would be ideal for this position, although AutoCAD is the essential one.

Requirements of the Architect for this role:

RIBA Part 3 qualified with at least 3 years of post qualification experience.
ARB registered & RIBA chartered
UK recognised qualifications at Part 1, 2 & 3 level.
Job running experience is essential
An interest in gaining experience in business development
Experience in a range of project types & sectors, with preference of Residential & Commercial work.
AutoCAD proficiency (essential), Revit proficiency (desirable)
Ability and confidence to lead a small team.
Confident in a client facing role.

The practice are based in Nottingham city centre, and as they are a small team, they expect staff to be in the office 5 days a week. This helps with collaboration in the office. Flexibility can be allowed for things like childcare, and after a probationary period of 6 months, a day a week working from home maybe considered.

The successful Architect will be offered a salary in the region of £36,000-£42,000 per annum, alongside a competitive benefits package.
