Rate: £220 and £375 per day Inside IR35 (lower end for more of a Junior – Higher end for Senior)
CMF Designer role:
This position is within the New Categories Department and reports to the Head of Design Strategy, within the Design organisation led by the Group Head of Design.
The job holder will be part of a team collectively responsible for the design of devices and accessories and will be working closely within the team, and with brand, insights and R&D teams responsible for the delivery of new product development.
CMF Designer experience MUST include:
* Ability to work on multiple design projects concurrently from concept development to final production.
* Good aesthetic sense, keen eye for CMF, visual design skills and solid understanding or ability to understand production processes.
* Ability to build strong partnerships with product designers, engineers, and marketing.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with internal partners and a network with external suppliers.
CMF EESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
* International experience with Trend and CMF design and development of contemporary digital and electronic products, and fully confident with the technologies and manufacturing processes which support them.
* Experience in all phases of the design process, from concept to manufacture through to launch.
* Experience in creating and leading CMF design in manufacturing
* Visual Design experience, developing product graphics artwork, and creating and maintaining CMF spec documentation.
* Must have strong project portfolio to demonstrate experience and design skills.
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
* Bachelor's degree qualification in a relevant design area, such as industrial design, and relevant industry experience
