CAD Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £18000 – £25000/annum Negotiable
Our client, a design agency near Halstead are looking to recruit a CAD Technician to carry out 2D/3D existing & proposed space plans and technical drawings. They are keen to recruit a CAD Technician with a good eye for detail, who has previous experience of using AutoCAD. The ideal candidate would be someone with previous experience as a CAD Technician or a Graduate Interior Designer with who has done a year out in industry or an internship.
Duties:
Drawing 2D/3D existing & proposed space plans, initial concepts and technical drawings.
Carry out and support Senior and Lead Planners/Designers with measured surveys.
Sending and receiving data electronically
Various other admin related duties, including creation of and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets.
Skills & Experience:
Must have AutoCAD experience.
Adobe Creative suite preferred but not essential.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Good numeracy and literacy are essential skills.
Driving licence preferable.
Candidates need to be well motivated, good team players with good communication skills and problem-solving skills.
Must be willing to learn and take on new challenges.
Benefits:
Hours 8.30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday with ½ hour lunch.
20 days holiday plus bank holidays increasing to 25 days with service.
