A Part 2 Architectural Assistant is required for a dynamic RIBA Architectural practice based in a beautiful village in the county of Somerset. On offer is the chance to join a wonderful practice full of character and knowledge.
This practice consists of 18 staff at present, and they work within a variety of sectors including Residential, Conservation, Churches, Historic Houses, and Private Houses.
The practice is looking for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join them. This role will give you the chance to focus on traditional and residential projects, focusing on detailing and quality.
A great emphasis is on innovation, teamwork, and success is shared. They have developed an outstanding reputation for delivering and overachieving in their client’s needs. Starting with feasibility studies and going all the way to final drawings. The role will also allow you to regularly visit sites and manage your own projects.
AutoCAD is used in-house so any previous experience using this is an advantage. Due to the practice, rural location, you will need to hold a driver's license and be a car owner.
The salary for this position ranges from £23,000-£26,000 depending on previous experience. Part 3 support is offered to all staff and the practice has a good reputation for taking through Part 2’s to complete their Part 3.

* Previous experience of using AutoCAD would be advantageous.
* Ability to work on your own and to deadlines

* A driver’s license and live within 45 minutes of Highbridge, Somerset
