An established fashion supplier based in Central London who specialise in designing and manufacturing womenswear garments to UK high street retailers and fashion brands are currently on the hunt for an Assistant Garment Technologist with testing experience to join their established production team.
As an Assistant Garment Technologist you will be responsible for conducting internal and external fit meetings, test reporting, maintaining the critical path and production sample. Working alongside the design team to ensure their designs are produced without comprising designs and with the Sales team to ensure the retail buyer's design briefs are produced according to approval. You will report directly to the production Manager, and be a valued member of the technical team.
The ideal candidate must have previous Garment Technology experience ideally working at an assistant level for a fashion supplier or high street retailer. You must have strong knowledge of garment construction, test reporting, grading and approvals, with exceptional experience working with overseas factories ideally the Far East, UK retail buyers, and designers.
