3D Animator
Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary : £175 – £225/day
An exciting indie studio based in the UK, but working fully remotely, are offering a four-month contract opportunity for experienced 3D Animator who have a passion for creating impressive animations for AAA PC titles. This position will be Outside IR35.
The Company
The company is comprised of a small core team and a number of other contractors who each have a passion for the games industry and some impressive experience throughout their careers. Having recently been picked up by a publisher, they currently have two projects in production and are looking to expand the teams as a result.
3D Animator Role
As a key member of the team, the client are looking to bring on an experienced 3D Animator for their current co-op survival horror game. The title is comprised of intense and replayable gameplay, alongside AI horror creatures. You will be responsible for producing realistic and diverse animations.
3D Animator Requirements:
Commercial experience as a 3D Animator in the games industry
2+ years’ experience minimum
Highly proficient in Maya (or other 3D animation software of choice)
Familiar with animation pipeline in UE4
As they are using Unreal Engine, any knowledge and commercial experience using the engine is a massive benefit.
They are offering a daily rate of £175 – £225 per day and the opportunity to work on some exciting projects in a close-knit team.
The interview process will be either one or two stages with the Studio Director and a run through of your portfolio.
