Job Title: Upholsterer
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Salary: £22,000 to £35,000
Hours: · 7am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday with a 12pm finish on Friday.
Upholsterer
The Candidate
Must have previous Upholstery experience.
Experience in deep buttoning and other traditional Upholstery techniques.
Ensure that all quality standards are maintained.
Must have a high attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organisation skills.
The Role
Complete orders according to specifications.
Attach all finishes including buttons, trim, tassels and other decorative accessories.
Use patterns, stencils and industrial cutting tools.
Measure and cut fabrics.
Operate portable hand-sewing equipment, nail guns, hobnail and tack hammers, hot-knife cutters and other industrial equipment.
Any other ad hoc duties as required.
