ROLE: Digital Printer / Finisher
Salary: £20K-£25K depending on experience + shift allowance
Hours: 12 hour shifts, across both days and nights, alternate weeks.
Location: Cardiff, South Wales
My client are a leading provider of Large Format Graphics and Signage based in South Wales, and are looking for an experienced Digital Printer and Finisher to join their team.
What you'll be doing:
Operating EFI Matans and Vutek Printers.
In the Finishing department – operating Zund cutters, Guillotine, Automiller and various other equipment.
Understanding every job and ensure all materials are correct and present
Undertaking routine maintenance and housekeeping on the machines
Ensuring the printed products are of a high quality by undertaking thorough inspections and reporting defects to management.
Prioritising work based on the defined schedule and liaising with team members to ensure products are completed and ready to be passed to the Fabrication team on time and to specification.
Responsibility for general cleanliness of the presses and the surrounding area as a part of the daily routine
Complying with all Health & Safety policies and procedures adopted by the company at all times
What you'll need:
Experience in working with either the following Printers or very similar: EFI Matans and Vutek Printers.
Competent in Finishing – across various different Digital Finishing equipment including some of the following, Zund cutters, Guillotine, Automiller etc.
Good attention to detail and a exceptional accuracy are required.
High level of organisation is essential.
Must be a good team player with great communication skills.
Flexible approach and ability to do overtime where required.
