Designer required to join a leading construction specialist based in the Oxfordshire area. The company focus on providing innovative solutions to the window, door and curtain walling industry, working on a range of commercial, industrial, residential, education and public sectors. The company are continuously growing and are now seeking an experienced Designer to join their design team.
The suitable Designer will have previous experience working within a similar industry, such as curtain walling, architectural glazing, aluminium windows, doors or rainscreen. The Designer will ideally have a good understanding of aluminium systems and have the ability to do the processing/cutting sheets for the operation.
Designer Position Overview
Detailed drawings using CAD
Work as part of a team as well as alone.
Meet deadlines when required
Work on a range of aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling projects
Commercial biased projects
Designer Position Requirements
Worked within a similar position
Strong CAD experience
Aluminium systems knowledge would be advantageous (Schuco, Technal, Kawneer, Sapa etc.)
Commutable distance to the Oxford area
