We are searching for an experienced Planner/Scheduler to join the expanding team of one of our Ashford based clients. This is an opportunity to work for a prestigious, growing, professional and very well run business who esteem their workforce and understand the importance of respecting and welcoming quality staff into their business.
The right person for this job will have experience in end to end works scheduling. Including procurement, installation, pre-construction, design, manufacture and installation. This person will also need an in depth knowledge of MS Planner or similar and generally strong IT skills. You'll also need to be an extremely clear communicator and of course, someone that can get the job done on time, on budget, safely and to the highest possible standard!
In this job you will:
Create, maintain, review and administer construction schedules and plans
Liaise with managers and engineers to discuss the progress of the project and address any issues that arise
Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to organise the phases of product development
Keep the client team up to date on progress to present to the client
Present information for internal meetings on the project
Problem solving
Produce tender plans to support bids

Strong communication including writing reports and presenting
Understanding engineering principles

High Attention to detail
Excellent IT skills and relevant knowledge of Planning software including MS Project or similar such as Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6
