Nine Twenty are working exclusively with our client in their need for a Luxury Packaging Reprographics Designer.

The successful candidate will have a background in luxury packaging with a strong understanding in Lithographic printing in spot colours, varnish effects, embossing/debossing, diecutting & gluing across paper and carton board substrates – foil blocking experience is a must!

The Role:

* You will work with customers to develop, enhance and modify artworks

* You will conduct Technical reviews of artworks ensuring best possible print & finish results are achieved

* You will use a range of software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, 2D CAD, Reprographics, 3D Rendering and Colour Management software packages

* You will develop customer concepts from supplied artworks through print ready files for internal and client sign off

* You will ensure all artwork adheres to client and brand guidelines

* You will prepare press ready files ready to be sent to suppliers of tooling

* You will innovate and develop new print and finish approaches, tooling & substrates

Skills required:

* You will have in depth knowledge of litho print, foil blocking, embossing/debossing, cutting and gluing processes

* You will have experience working with paper based packaging

* You will have knowledge of colour, ink and special effect varnishes

* You will have experience on Reprographics software such as 2D CAD

* You will have experience in Adobe Creative Suite Packages

* You will have knowledge of Artwork, prepress and repro procedures
