Job type: Full-time/ Permanent
Our client is an award-winning marketing agency that has a loyal and stable client base consisting mainly of manufacturers and services within the construction industry. They are looking to grow our production team – responding to a growth in demand from their current and prospective clients.
The suitable candidate would be required to design content to be used in online and print content. Working with supportive direction from their lead graphic designer, and team of creatives and writers, this will be a perfect opportunity for someone looking to demonstrate and enhance their design skills. The successful candidate would be required to perform the following tasks:
Creating visual assets for social and digital media
Graphic design of literature as well as presentations, reports, print media and other marketing collateral based on proposals
Video editing and creation of animated content
Working as part of a team with account managers, copywriters and digital asset developers to provide integrated communications programmes
Providing design consultancy for clients in the development of company logos, websites and other graphic assets
Working with Account Directors to understand clients’ briefs and proactively respond with creative proposals
Contribute to new business proposals and presentations
Working with the digital team and client managers on, briefing and advising them with regard to design, style, format, production and timescales
Post production video editing
They would be required to have the following experience and skillset:
At least 3 years’ experience working in an agency or fast-paced environment that involved working on a variety of projects
Ability to communicate effectively
Able to work towards strict deadlines
Proven ability to manage competing demands
Creative outlook
Strong attention to detail
A high competence with the design and editing tools, including (but not limited to) Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects software
A degree in graphic design or similar
A portfolio that demonstrates a wide-range of work in digital and print design their people need to be self-motivated, able to work on their own initiative and good at sticking to deadlines.
As a group they take their work very seriously but also like to have a laugh. They don’t expect their new joiners to know about building but do need them to get why construction is a great industry and be keen to learn more.
