A Part 1 Architectural Assistant is required for an award-winning architectural practice based on the outskirts of Bristol in Portishead.
This practice has two offices across the UK and employs over 50 staff. As the Part 1 Architectural Assistant, you will be contributing to the design and delivery of projects. You will also be producing detailed drawings and producing building regulations and construction information. You will be supported and mentored for completing your Part 2.
Projects wise they work on anything related to the residential developer sector including care homes, retirement villages, small-medium and large housing schemes, master planning, and urban design.
After a month or so (company discretion) hybrid working is offered to new staff with the option of working 3 days in the office and 2 days at home, flexible
start and finish times are also offered.
The salary for this position ranges from £18,000 to £22,000 depending on previous experience. They also offer a great benefits package including a bonus, company pension and flexible working hours.
To Be Considered: Part 1 Architectural Assistant
Live within a commutable area to Portishead – Bristol
Knowledge of residential schemes and with housing developers (would be advantageous)
Ability to work on working drawings
The ability to use AutoCAD is essential and ideally Adobe Suite
