Production Planner
Location: Clydebank
Salary: DOE
Company: A flexible packaging and labels client within a variety of markets including food and beverage and non-food.
Role This role is a key position within the business, liaising with several departments to continuously manage the production plan, and to achieve customer requirements on time and in full.
* Creation and continuous review of production plan
* Responsible for reviewing new demand and its impact on the current plan
* Effectively communicating the production plan to internal departments highlighting any changes to the plan as required
* Highlighting and resolving any issues that arise in the plan in a timely manner
* Liaise with MRP department to ensure that bill of materials is on site on time to meet production needs
* Use of MIS systems and Excel to maintain workflow and productivity
* Produce and maintain a master schedule
* Plan production schedule on a weekly basis considering lead times, due dates, and resources; clarify and optimise the plan
Requirements:
* Relevant experience in a similar Supply Chain / Operations / Forecasting role working within a manufacturing company
* Experienced within a packaging manufacturer would be preferred
* Packaging / print / labels industry experience preferable
* Knowledge ERP and MRP systems – An advantage
* Knowledge of Radius & Print Flow systems – Preferred
* You are organised and calm under pressure
