UX/UI Designer is required by an innovative software business who are currently undergoing an exciting period of growth and development. This is a newly created role that will see you working across UX/UI for the core client product in a friendly, supportive and collaborative team environment.
This is a predominantly remote working role with occasional meetings in their offices in the South East. Our client also has a fantastic family-friendly approach to flexible work pattern and offers uncapped holiday as a key employee benefit.
Key Responsibilities for the UX/UI Designer:
* Review existing product flows and processes to identify and recommend opportunities for UX and UI improvement
* Design and run user research and communicate with clients to understand their business goals and objectives.
* Design and develop wireframes around functional requirements for new features
* Create high-fidelity prototypes for developers to work from
* Take a human-centric approach to design, creating user flows that achieve goals in the easiest and most elegant way
* Be able to clearly articulate design decisions to stakeholders
* Own and continuously develop the product’s design system and component library
* Establish, and enforce, brand guidelines in conjunction with Marketing team
Required skills for the UX/UI Designer role:
* 5 years of experience as an UI-UX Designer
* A strong UX/UI design portfolio with examples of every stage of the design process
* Fluent with Sketch, Figma, or similar modern design tools of your choice
* Experience with rapid testing and prototyping
* Proactive and self-motivated
* Detail oriented
* Critical thinker
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to discuss and explain design options
Desirable skills for the UX/UI Designer role:
* Knowledge of agile software development.
* Practical knowledge of APIs and integration functionality
