Staff Buddy is on the hunt for a Digital Product Designer (mid to senior level) to help create digital experiences that delight our Clients' customers as much as their products already do.

This is a huge opportunity for the right person as you will be the first Product Designer on the team so you can really let your creative flag fly, and become an integral part of this companies future and growth. As a Digital Product Designer, you’ll join our Growth Team, who are responsible for the acquisition, retention, and lifetime value of this companies customers.

About the role:

As the first Product Designer on the team, you’ll have an amazing amount of responsibility from day one, as well as the opportunity to deliver truly meaningful work for the business and our customers, with your designs impacting hundreds of thousands of people across the world. You will play a critical role in helping drive the success of the team, and the business.
You’ll create amazing user experiences across the customer lifecycle, from the storytelling of our homepage to the conversion of our checkout flows, customer dashboard, and other high-value journeys.

Duties:

* You’ll design amazing experiences that delight our customers, inspire them, and solve their needs.

* You’ll be a customer champion, using tools to gather data and survey our customers, and conduct interviews to gather qualitative and quantitative research.

* You’ll use optimisation tools to test improvements to user journeys.

* You’ll work with a great team of product owners, engineers and creatives.

* You’ll be taking ideas from first concepts and building prototypes through to polished designs, and work with our engineering teams to implement them.

* Play a part in defining the strategy and vision for the digital products.

About you:
You’ll be a customer champion, leading on qualitative and quantitative research to help us truly understand our customers, what they need, and design great digital experiences for them. Importantly, we’re looking for someone who can blend brilliantly intuitive designs with an optimisation and growth mindset.

You’ll report into a Digital Product Owner, and the Head of Growth. Working closely with the Growth, Engineering and Creative teams, you’ll help create and deliver on a roadmap spanning a wide cross-section of the customer’s digital experience.

Requirements:

* You have 2-3 years of experience in UX/UI/web design roles, either in-house or agency.

* You have experience in creating and shipping designs in a fast-growing company, and you know how to create impactful designs for real users.

* Strategic thinker – you can assess a range of design ideas and pull out the ones you think will have the most impact on the user. You’ll enjoy breaking down complex problems, and understanding how your work fits into the wider customer journey.

* A curious mindset, eager to learn and understand how a customer thinks. You have experience gathering qualitative and quantitative research from customers, and know how to use it to solve their needs and influencer behaviour through intuitive design.

* A growth mindset, with a drive to build and test things quickly, get data and feedback and improve a product.
