Digital Marketing Manager
A unique opportunity has arisen for a digital marketing manager at a fast-growing online business. As a key member of a small business, you will be responsible for driving all marketing activities as well as maintaining and improving the company website.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things related to ecommerce. You will be well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and how the internet can become a strong asset to securing growing revenue. You will be tech-savvy and intuitive with a proactive hands-on mindset and great ideas to reinforce our website’s already excellent online presence.
General responsibilities
* Working with the senior management team to develop the marketing strategy.
* Updating website product information via Magento and WordPress CMS platforms.
* Managing and updating the companies social media channels.
* Working with our SEO agency to drive increased organic growth and activity.
* Organising and designing marketing materials such as email newsletters, flyers and business cards.
* Writing blog posts and other marketing materials for the company.
* Working on strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers.
* Liaising on website and marketing projects with external suppliers.
* Collaborating with senior management and external agencies to improve user experience.
* Sourcing and adding new products to the website from external suppliers.
What we need from you
* A proven track record of generating results.
* Experience managing and communicating with external agencies.
* Experience in implementing SEO strategies.
* Experience in PPC.
* Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.
* Experience in all elements of digital marketing, including social media management and advertising, email marketing, content marketing etc.
* Experience in using data to drive decision making – analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in various digital marketing software, including Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Hootsuite etc.
* Attention to detail.
* Commercially minded.
* Excellent command of written English.
* Proactive mindset and full to the brim of ideas!
Desirable, but not essential
* Experience with Magento 2.
* Experience with WordPress.
* Experience sourcing B2B products.
Salary & benefits
* 25-30k depending on experience.
* 37.5 hours per week
* 20 days annual leave + bank holidays (extra days earned for long service)

The company is based in Garstang, Lancashire between Preston and Lancaster and is in a remote location. Own transport is required
