Head of People & Culture
The Head of People & Culture role is ideal for a driven and talented individual seeking their next genuine challenge within a highly rewarding and creative environment. Key Responsibilities:
General HR
* Provide expert HR advice across the three UK offices.
* Create, develop and uphold all HR policies and procedures.
* Own the end-to-end employee life cycle: managing the onboarding and induction process, maternity/paternity leave programmes, the employee leavers process.
* Manage all Employee Relations processes: disciplinaries, grievances, performance management.
* Manage redundancy processes and programmes, maintaining and reviewing our redundancy policy and advising Directors on legal compliance.
Learning & Development
* Identify training needs, coordinate and manage necessary training programmes and support.
* Manage and oversee the staff appraisal programme: including regular reviews and process updates, as a part of employee career development.
* Utilise innovative staff retention methods, ensuring that career path, promotion, and professional development frameworks align with company values.
* Support in the creation and delivery of leadership development programmes.
Talent Acquisition
* Own the talent acquisition process, supporting its leaders in attracting and recruiting top talent to the company.
* Develop and promote a high-quality employer branding initiative.
* Employ innovative attraction methods to appeal to the best talent on the market, source potential candidates and plan interview and selection procedures.
Engagement & Culture
* Continually develop ways to ensure talent is engaged and aligned to its values.
* Promote Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.
* Research and understand industry trends to foster best practice that reflect our company values, enhancing staff wellbeing, attracting and retaining a diverse workforce.
* Contribute to the embedding of equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout all parts of the company, identifying opportunities where this can be strengthened and integrated.
* Manage and develop the Mental Health & Wellbeing programme.
Reward
* Assist and advise the Directors with the implementation and review of salaries/benefits.
* Ensure all aspects of Rewards and Benefits are line with the company’s D&I approach to guarantee accessibility for all employees.
Systems, Admin & Payroll
* Oversee and implement a new HRIS.
* Manage and oversee all day-to-day HR administration tasks; ensuring that all employee and HR records are accurate and up to date.
* Manager all other HR related tasks as necessary.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Candidate should hold a recognised HR qualification with at least 6 years’ experience in working within HR.
* Experience of successfully operating in a standalone or small HR team.
* Equally comfortable in developing HR strategy and carrying out basic admin tasks
