Senior Transport Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £40000/annum
Spencer Clarke Group are looking for a Senior Transport Technician based in London City Centre.
Your principal role will be a design technician producing primarily transport and highways drawings to support project design development and planning applications. The position will also involve client, co-professional and design team liaison.
Required Skills and Experience
Ideally HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or demonstrate sufficient experience in highway design
Proficient in the design of highways with experience in applying DMRB, Manual for Streets and Local Authority standards and design guidance
Production of drawings in AutoCAD
Proficient in the use of AutoTrack, PDS Sign and PDS Line (or similar software)
Preparation of presentation drawings for S106 agreements and planning submissions
Good written and spoken communication skills and be able to work as part of a team
Enthusiastic and self-motivated
