Games Design Lecturer
TeacherActive are working with a Further Education College based in North Tyneside who are recruiting a Games Design Lecturer to join their passionate team on a Wednesday and Thursday full day on an on-going contract.

Role responsibilities:
To develop, prepare and deliver high quality education and training programmes and to provide other professional support to help the College meet its objectives.
Prepare and deliver course material to a range of programmes as directed by your line manager.
Carry out a range of lecturing and associated functions in connection with classroom teaching, tutorial work, assessment, residential courses, open and distance learning cases, and student placements as required.
Implement and take cognisance of all policies and procedures of the College and the Faculty.
Carry out tutorial duties and assist with the provision of an effective counselling service to students on academic, non-academic and welfare matters as required.
Person and Qualifications:
Proficient in coding and building 2D Games.
Previous experience in delivering BTEC Games Design.
PGCE (or Further Education Teaching Certificate) / working towards or willingness to work towards full accreditation.
Literacy and Numeracy qualifications at a minimum of Level 2 (or equivalent) / willingness to work towards.
Enhanced DBS on the update service.
