Renewables Design Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £22000/annum negotiable depending on experience
Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit a full-time renewables design technician. Our client specialises in sustainable building solutions. Installing Solar PV, Air source heat pumps, Solar Panels and EV Charging, they are based in Cumbernauld, Glasgow and are offering a great opportunity to join a growing team.
You will be working as part of a team for a well-established all-trades building company.
This could be an ideal role for a graduate from a design or electrical background.
Duties
As a design technician, there will be several tasks that will be expected from you, some of these are detailed below.
·To take the initial enquiry through to sale and installation
·To produce a comprehensive renewables report
·To design the systems to client requirements and meet accreditation standards using solar edge PV designer to create schematics for domestic and commercial solar installations.
This is not a sales role. You will be dealing with up to 100 inbound enquiries which will involve the opportunity to partake in client visits and site surveys.
Requirements
Essential:
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent computer skills, ability to using graphics and google maps
* Good customer service skills
* Ability to work 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday
* Driving license
Desirable:
* Previous experience in renewables
This position is critical to the business and full training will be provided
