Junior Graphic Designer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £18000 – £24000/annum Up to £24K DOE
Junior Graphic Designer required for bespoke apparel branding company based in Plymouth. The successful candidate will produce designs for a variety of customers based both in the UK and overseas. The successful candidate will join an expanding creative team and work closely alongside our license approvals and offshore sourcing teams to create fantastic products. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate at the beginning of their design career to join a vibrant and expanding company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create design briefs – trend research, mood boards, graphic design for screen and digital printing.
* Create sales and online marketing content for owned brands and character licenses.
* Liaise with licensors.
* Understand company values, brands and ethos.
Experience, Skills and Candidate Attributes Required:
* Two to Three years of experience in the design industry – ideally working within apparel and/or the licensing industry. Candidates with a recent design based degree may also be considered in the absence of experience.
* Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is essential.
* Speed and accuracy with excellent attention to detail is also essential.
* Strong traditional illustration and design skills is preferred but not essential.
* A history of working with screen print, photography and clothing would also be favourable
* Ability to work well in a team environment is essential.
