Product Designer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £40000 – £45000/annum bonus and benefits
Consumer Goods Company based in Peterborough is looking for a Product Designer to join the team.
As Product Designer you will be responsible for the design of a range of interior design products from concept to delivery. You will take full ownership of projects so good project management skills are important.
The key skills required for this role will be:
Degree educated within a relevant engineering/design qualification
Experience of working within a development, design or engineering role
Experience in the design of plastic injection moulding and metal work
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques
Proven track record of understanding the design process from cradle to grave
Experience of Asian markets and manufacturers would be an advantage
Consultancy experience would be beneficial
Good sketching skills and ability to articulate ideas on paper
Proficiency in Solidworks
