CAD Technician

Reporting to our Design Director and sitting within the Design team, you will work closely with our site teams to ensure that all drawings and construction information is produced for contractors on site. Although this position will be based from our head office in Segensworth, you will also be required to travel to our project sites to attend meetings and undertake surveys.
Requirements:
Experience in commercial fit out
Experience in design and build projects
Knowledge of AutoCAD is essential, you will be responsible for taking client approved concept drawings & producing detailed technical drawings for tender packages, including bespoke joinery drawings
Ability to work in a project environment within a close-knit team
Ability to keep and maintain good quality records and follow procedures
Ability to manage time and priorities independently and deliver on tight deadlines
A good eye for detail and an understanding of the full design process
Ability to attend meetings with contractors and clients
Ability to undertake site surveys in preparation for technical drawing packages.
Software:
Proficiency in the following packages: AutoCAD, SketchUp (including Lumion render packages), Adobe Suite.Please get in touch
