FF&E Designer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £40000/annum
Would you like to work with an international, award-winning practise? My client is looking for an FF&E designer to join their London studio.
This practise are pioneers in hospitality, tourism and desitination design. With 8 offices spanning 3 continents, and 500 creative thinkers globally, working at this Studio will expose you to significant projects and developments on a range of scales.
As an FF&E designer, you will be vital in supporting the Interior Design Team. You will be:
– preparing and updating drawings and graphics
– CAD designing
– Creating furnishing and material boards
– model making
– FF&A sourcing
As an FF&E Designer, you will need:
– Degree qualification in Interior Design/Interior Architecture with 5+ years of post-qualification experience on hospitality projects
– Experience using AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Adobe InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop, Microsoft Word/Excel
– Experience in Graphic Design concepts e.g. hand sketch case work, vignette scenes, hand coloring, rendering interior drawings, area take offs and shop drawings
– Experience in interior design concepts such as, space planning, furniture, fixtures, hardware, sanitaryware schedules and product research
This role will require you to be comfortable communicating with clients, consultants, vendors, with an advanced level of initiative and judgment in order to organise and prioritise tasks, workload and projects.
