Conrad Consulting are working alongside a well-established design consultancy who have forged a reputation as market leaders in the Extra-Care sector. For over 20 years they have assisted their clients in delivering successful schemes that respond to the growing demand for care accommodation in the UK – making this opportunity one with a promising future.
Their experience ranges from new build projects to refurbishments and extensions and they have been involved in the development of well over 100 care facilities, primarily care homes but also extra care apartments, assisted living developments and learning disability housing.
The company are going through an exciting period of growth as they look to capitalise on their successes by recruiting leading Architectural professionals to ensure that this development of the business continues on the current trajectory!
As the Associate Director, you will work as part of the senior management team and be responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations for the company with oversight of all design work and a team of experienced Architects, Technicians and support staff alongside the smooth running of the company's internal processes.
This is a highly important role in the development of the business and you will be an integral part of ensuring the company continues to make waves in the industry – working alongside the Managing Director to shape the Company's growth strategy and business operations.
Associate Director Requirements:
RIBA/ARB Accredited Architect
Extensive UK Architecture experience – particularly in the Extra-Care sector
Proven experience in an operational environment, with at least 3 years at a management level
Budgeting, forecasting and planning experience in an operational environment
Previous experience of working in the care accommodation sector – highly desirable
Knowledge of business and management principles and practice
A flair for business development
Knowledge of basic economic and accounting principles and practices
Proficient in working with CAD/ REVIT
Excellent people leadership skills with strong focus on engagement, coaching &development

The successful Architect who steps into the Associate Director role will receive a highly competitive salary likely to be in the region of £50-£60k (dependant on experience) with interest in investing in the business in the next 5 years.
