Due to continued growth, they have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Graphic & Content Creator, to provide support to the Sales and Marketing team.
Suitable candidates must be able to show a portfolio of work.
Responsibilities:
* Graphic design artwork, layout and image manipulation.
* Develop and deliver engaging visual content for both digital and print.
* Create illustrations and graphics for individual projects.
* Responsibility for all the company’s digital estate, including websites (2 in total) and Sales & Marketing digital communications across the business.
* Ensuring the websites and their key product lines are kept optimised for SEO.
* Use Google Analytics and other reporting tools to monitor and evaluate digital performance.
* Overall responsibility for the management of e-mail portal.
* Demonstrate a good understanding of brand design guidelines and assist in maintaining the company visual identity.
* Ensuring social media are curated and managed to brand standards and relevant sales campaigns.
* Lead the development, implementation and choreography of the communications and content strategy for social media platforms.
* Work with external agencies to manage and work collaboratively in the printing of literature, catalogues and product photography.
* Assist in the implementation of a strategy for the use of video to be maximised within communications, websites, and YouTube.
* Creating proposals and recommendations to share with the Company Directors to achieve the company goals.
* Review and recommendations of software applications to support business.
Required qualifications, knowledge, experience and skills:
* A-level or equivalent standard of education essential; Higher education, (HND or equivalent) qualification in visual/graphic design desirable
* 1 years’ experience in a Graphic Design role, or for recent graduates, significant practical work experience placements
* High level of numeracy and literacy
* Excellent written communication skills for producing high quality content
* Strong communication for articulating ideas to colleagues
* Fluency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
* Strong computer literacy including Excel, Word and Outlook
* Solid technical understanding of website systems
* Intermediate HTML knowledge
* Knowledge of SEO
* Able to demonstrate a flair for typography, art direction and layout
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Natural creative ability
* Work both independently and collaboratively
* Able to multi-task effectively
