My client is a family ran hydraulic machinery distributor. Established over 40 years ago my client supplies the hydraulic industry with reliable hydraulic machinery and equipment. Whilst offering first-class products they follow this up with the ability to offer service and repairs on site. In a forever adapting industry they strongly believe that on-going training and support for staff is paramount for them to ensure they are always offering the best customer service and advice at all times. Due to ongoing changes and growth my client is looking for a sales and design engineer to join their van conversions team.
Sales and Design Engineer
West Bromwich
£23,000 – £28,000 Basic (Depending on Experience)
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly sales reports to management.
Manage your own time – Emails, visits, general work load.
Quote customers using an in-house system.
Liaise with existing and potential clients on a regular basis (email, phone, teams)
Handle the inbound sales enquiries.
Establish new business.
Design and produce computer drawings and quotes based on information gathered from clients and potential clients – Using Drag and Drop system.
Keep the customers information up to date and document all work correctly.
Adhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations.
Resolve customer issues and improve customer satisfaction.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
Full UK driving licence
Problem solving skills
Good Computer skills.
Professional manner
Excellent communication skills – verbally and written.
Good organisational skills.
A good attention to detail.
