Motion Graphics Designer and Video Editor

Salary : £40000 – £50000/annum
I am working with a large B2B agency, who are looking for an experienced Motion Graphics Designer and Video Editor to join their in-house motion team.
You’ll be responsible for creating a variety of videos ranging from big brand anthem reels, social content, to explainer videos. This role would suit a keen visual storyteller, who can elevate ideas and convert them into videos with real stopping-power.
Being responsible for the design and production of video content for a variety of different projects and clients, you will be pushing the boundaries and elevating the quality of our content – whilst also appreciating the discipline that working for big brands requires. We need an animator and motion graphics expert in one, a superstar who also has a strong design background.
You need to bring your own distinct approach but are equally comfortable when working within established styles and treatments.
Being a visual storyteller, you need to be able to craft powerful and engaging short films, bringing our clients campaigns to life through visual storytelling, graphic animations and editing. We need someone who has a keen eye for continuity and selection of footage.
You will be ambitious and ready to work in a fast-paced environment, equally comfortable producing your own work and bringing to fruition other people’s ideas – collaborating with the wider creative team to put together the best, most compelling story.
You will work as part of a small team, to take on all aspects of video production; from generating and contributing to ideas, producing treatments, storyboards, to motion graphics and animation for clients.
You will have extensive knowledge and experience of using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, with supporting skills for asset/footage preparation required in Illustrator, Photoshop, Audition etc
You must also be comfortable working with animation, filmed footage, and stock footage, as well as being able to present and work with clients directly.
