A school in Barnsley are looking to recruit and train an enthusiastic and focused, graduate full-time role in a diverse and vibrant secondary academy in Barnsley. The role is to start as soon as a possible and on a temporary to permanent basis. The salary will vary between £17,070 – £21,085
The Role
The role will include:
Delivering pre-planned lessons to KS3 and KS4 groups of up to 30 students across a range of subjects
Using the school's behaviour system to manage learning expectations
Working with pastoral managers, colleagues and parents to build positive relationships with students and create a positive learning environment
Gaining experience of teaching a range of subjects and interesting topics The School
11-16 academy
Rated 'Good' in all areas of recent Ofsted visit
Part of a successful multi academy trust with 26 schools nationwide
Supportive staff and training programmes to develop your skills as a class teacher
To be successful you must:
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
