A leading hospitality design and build company are seeking a Graduate Cad technician person to join their bar design team. The successful Trainee Design Technician will be responsible for delivering design and manufacturing drawings for some of the UKs premium bar and hotel operators. Full training will be given and you will be given the opportunity to further develop your skills
Our client is a specialist hospitality design and build company Established for over 30 years offering full kitchen and bar consultancy, planning and design services and are able to provide everything from a single item of catering equipment, to a new-build including a commercial kitchen and bar. We work on projects such as restaurants, bars, airports, football stadiums and hotels throughout the UK

As a Trainee CAD Technician, your work will see you utilising all available CAD tools in order to produce high quality technical drawing documentation for some exciting projects.
Drawing documentation produced by the CAD Technician will relate to project specific requirements mainly consisting of general arrangement drawings, detailed bar design drawings
What you can expect to learn…
CAD Design Technician Responsibilities:
* Creation of Planning, Detailed Design and As-built drawings to the company and client specifications and standards using AutoCAD
* Utilise all available CAD tools such as templates, CAD blocks, customised routines etc.
* Organise, plan and prioritise workload for completion with other CAD Technicians and within deadlines and forecasts.
* Assist in the maintenance and updating of the company Design Standard Drawing Library
* Collaborating with other CAD Technicians
* Work with and update databases and client systems ensuring all work & milestone dates are captured
* Generate practical ideas to cut down the drafting time, increase the quality of drafting, evolving or simplifying currently used processes or implementing new etc.
CAD Design Technician Requirements:
* Experience using AutoCAD (some experience as a CAD Technician desirable but not essential)
* Flexible & professional approach to work
* Strong communication skills – both verbal & written
* Strong analytical skills & well-developed problem solving
* Sound IT skills
