Embroidery Specialist
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £25000 – £30000/annum
GPS are recruiting for individuals with a passion for embroidery and design. We are looking for someone to join a busy embroidery department to help with, logo sampling, colouring-up new season styles, keeping up to date with our embroidery data base, to help create and develop the companies logos under the guidance and mentorship of the Embroidery & Design Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
* Logo setup, originations & creating DST colour sequences
* Logo sampling, photography & approval Sheets
* Creating new season colour palettes using Madeira Classic threads
* Updating & organising our embroidery reference database
* Putting together colour stories for orders
* Colouring up orders to create colour sheets for in house production
* Administration of embroidery inbox, logo invoicing & updating origination tracker
* Track, monitor, and resolve all customer embroidery issues
* Make sure all orders are coloured correctly, in a timely manner
* Assist with resource coordination, as needed
* Provide embroidery related support to customers, internal and external
* Prepare embroidery instruction sheets for orders delivered to EU contractors
* Communicate effectively with customers to review details and exceed customer satisfaction
Skills/Experience Required:
* Confident to speak to a wide range of customers
* A knowledge of Wilcom Embroidery Studio Software preferred but not essential
* Strong computer skills, to include Microsoft Office products; must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Pays close attention to detail; strives for perfection
* Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
* Has a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and co-workers
* Good telephone manner
* A good strong team player & individual worker, who takes pride in their work
* Industry experience in apparel
* A strong passion for embroidery & design is essential
