Web Developer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £25000 – £30000/annum negotiable for the right candidate
Our Client is looking for a motivated Web Developer to work primarily from home.
Whilst this is a full time position, they would consider someone who wanted to work 3-4 days per week (pro-rata pay and holidays). Normal working hours between 9 and 5.30pm.
Occasional team / client meetings would be required at offices in Upton or Liverpool.
All equipment necessary will be provided
Roles and Responsibilities
* Work required to be completed using WordPress allowing for internal protocols. HTML / CSS – Understand other practices e.g. CSS Grid, Flexbox, Pre-Processors
(SASS) PHP – Experience of developing WordPress themes, preferably Advanced
Custom Fields and, if possible, WooCommerce o Javascript (where necessary e.g. animate on scroll, carousels, slick slider, smooth scroll etc.)
* Build sites, Code repositry, GitHub/Bitbucket etc. using whichever method you prefer (e.g. Command Line, GUI, GitHub desktop etc.)
* Supporting clients with updates and refresh requests.
* Progressive working with new design processes as required
Other Requirements
* Recording all time spent onto the system.
* Regular Zoom / Team calls and meetings with external / internal stakeholders
* Buy in to the company culture of continual personal improvement as well as contributing to ideas for better working practices across the business
