Junior Graphic Designer – Marketing Assistant
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Graphic Designer to work alongside our dynamic, friendly team to produce a range of high-quality materials. You will support the development of marketing campaigns and discussions, enjoying seeing ideas come to fruition at a national level. You will be regularly based at our Doncaster office with some option of remote working (work from home) at given times. The role will require some national travel. This is a diverse role that you can really make your own.

Since establishing the charity in 2012 we have become a multi-award-winning organisation.
In June 2020 the charity was awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the highest award a charity can be given.
We strongly believe that if we can educate the nation about sleep, we can prevent many of those we support from reaching crisis point.

Roles and Responsibilities:
To support the Senior Management Team with graphic design
To adhere to brand guidelines as established, designing materials suitable for a range of channels including posters, reports, social media posts and training materials.
To take an active part in liaising with external companies such as printers, brand managers, PR agency
To support the Deputy CEO with marketing activities
To actively engage in the development of the marketing plan and its implementation
To produce the organisation’s internal newsletter
To share information to promote the organisation in a meaningful manner though email, social media, face to face contact.
To think creatively to provide new ideas and content engaging with beneficiaries where appropriate
Person Specification:
Experience of using Adobe CC applications: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator (Essential)
Experience of working with Microsoft Office (Essential)
Awareness of issues experienced by those experiencing sleep difficulties (Desirable)
A good understanding of social media and email design (Essential)
Sound knowledge of animation/aftereffects/video editing (Desirable)
A relevant design/marketing qualification (Essential)
Can use own initiative, with a strong attention to detail (Essential)
Excellent communication skills (Essential) and Copywriting skills (Desirable)
A friendly, enthusiastic team player who is flexible and resilient, with a positive approach to work (Essential)
Ability to build and manage relationships with a range of internal and external contacts, including a board of trustees (Essential)
Other requirements:
Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
Professional qualification check and DBS check will be undertaken once role is offered and accepted.
Full, clean UK driving licence, use of a car and able to travel nationally.
Benefits:
Salary: £18,000 to £21,000 Dependant on Experience
Hours: 37 hours per week
28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
