Architectural Technologist
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £34000 – £38000/annum
Architectural Technologist required to join a multi-award winning Architectural Practice located in a purpose built studio in Ilkley, West Yorkshire.
With an established client base and reputation spanning thirty years recruitment in the highest quality of staff is crucial to their continued and long-term development strategy, and as such this opportunity will form an integral part of their experienced and talented architectural team.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of current construction techniques, standards and procedures and be able to efficiently package this knowledge into appropriate and comprehensive drawing packages. This should be relevant to all RIBA stages of work and assist all stages of drawn information within the construction process with good levels of technical skill and professional standards.
The candidate should be able to work within a team as well as independently and have the skills necessary to be able to research, develop and produce relevant working details and solutions to a variety of building types, throughout the entire construction process. They should feel comfortable working with other consultants and construction teams within a fast moving and varied practice.
This is a full-time position based in a purpose built studio in the idyllic spa town of Ilkley with the opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment with an exciting range of projects throughout the UK.

* Excellent technical skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Highly motivated and organised with an ability to work on several project types simultaneously.
* Experience within the residential sector.
* Excellent AutoCAD skills.
* Revit knowledge and experience a distinct advantage.
* Possess a thorough understanding of current Building Regulations and Planning standards.
Salary depending on experience circa £34,000 – £38,000 + Benefits.
