Role of the Senior Graphic Designer
We are looking for a talented, self motivated and dedicated designer. Working as part of The Organic Pharmacy in-house graphic team, this person will be responsible for all design elements. This person will contribute to the day-to-day creative work involved with the design team. The brand has strong style guidelines to adhere to however there are many opportunities for creativity. Must be able to work quickly, accurately, efficiently, and work within a required schedule. This person will report to the head of department.
Responsibilities of the Senior Graphic Designer
* Printing materials – posters, vinyls, brochures, training manuals (preparing and printing)
* Digital materials – newsletters, web banners, blog, adverts
* Providing pictures for our website, landing pictures – retouching and preparing photography for print and digital platforms
* Preparing files for social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, TikTok
* Supporting shops, distributors and providing all print and digital design materials
* Design merchandising for new campaign from brief to final and follow up
Experience & Skills needed for the Senior Graphic Designer
* An excellent knowledge of the following programs:
– Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator
– Adobe InDesign
– Adobe Acrobat
– Adobe Premier and Adobe After Effects skills desirable.
– Microsoft Power Point
* Art direction; creative, fresh, and challenging ideas and design.
* Video editing experience
* An understanding of working and company practices and procedures
* A professional attitude at all times
* Team player
* Problem solving skills and initiative
* A good eye for detail
* The ability to listen and understand other people’s views, and take constructive criticism well
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Enjoy multi-tasking and juggling a varied workload including assisting the Marketing department
* Excellent English language skills.
* Flexible, personable and have a good sense of humor
* MacOS literate
