The Trainee Production Operative position would be ideal for those with an interest in fashion manufacturing, if you have studied a fashion and textiles course or if you are a sewing hobbyist looking to develop your skills within luxury fashion manufacturing.

What you can expect
To equip you with the right skills for the position, you will receive up to 12 weeks of an individualised training programme led by industry experts before becoming an integral part of Burberry's production team. This includes:

A comprehensive induction programme to kickstart your Burberry journey
An individual training plan tailored to your current skill level and production areas you will be learning
A dedicated trainer to develop your sewing skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes
Hands-on sewing experience using industrial machines
Ongoing support to transition you to the main production team upon completion of trainingWhat we're looking for

A genuine interest in fashion manufacturing or are looking to establish a career as a professional sewing machinist
Accuracy and attention to detail, taking pride in your work to achieve Burberry's quality standards
Willingness to learn new skills and good ability to follow instructions
A flexibility to work across different shift patterns as determined by production needs post-training
Desire to meet personal and professional objectives contributing towards production line successesWorking at Burberry's Castleford site
