Conrad Consulting are working exclusively alongside a thriving multidisciplinary, design and construction management company to enhance their close-knit Architecture team with the important appointment of a Part 2 Architectural Assistant. The role would be suitable for an ambitious Architectural assistant who is looking for career progression within an exciting Science & research sector, this opportunity could see you go from Part 2 up to Director level for the right candidate.
Having had an extremely productive year delivering highly technical design projects, this well-established firm look set to build on their successes with a packed pipeline of interesting assignments on behalf of a broad client base – primarily focused on the design and construction of complex scientific, research and manufacturing facilities.
As such, we require a career driven Part 2 Architectural Assistant who is looking for a longer term prospect, with experience in the Pharmaceutical, Laboratory and Manufacturing sectors, however candidates with a background in the Commercial or Industrial sectors will also be considered if they are prepared to bring themselves up to scratch with the required regulations. The role would be ideal for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant who would like full exposure to all RIBA stages from conception to completion, who can design to a high specification and are comfortable with client & site visits.
The company has a forward-thinking approach to the application of the latest technology and software and so applicants, ideally, be proficient with the utilisation of BIM technology and be fully proficient with Revit.
Part 2 Architectural Assistant Requirements:
Master's degree in Architectural studies – Essential
First rate Design flair and business acumen
Excellent visual, written & spoken presentation skills to contribute to high quality documentation
Up to date knowledge of industry technical standards and statutory requirements
Able to work autonomously & and comfortable under pressure to meet deadline
Software experience in AUTO CAD and REVIT – advantageous
Ideally worked on all RIBA stages from conception to completion
Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and the Planning / Building Regulations application process
A person of integrity, a team player and a believer in high quality architecture and design A person of integrity, a team player
UK driving license – desirable
