My client is an international company positioned at the forefront of the POS and Retail Display industries. With teams based both at Moreton in Marsh and Evesham, they offer a wide range of items for retail stores from point-of-sale components to innovative bespoke solutions. Purpose
* Design and develop products and solutions that meet both the customer and business expectations.
* To work in association with Account Managers and Business Development Managers on projects to achieve the best possible outcome.
Job Tasks
* To ensure your projects are kept up to date on the Project Planners to ensure there is clarity to all involved.
* To show initiative and bring forward ideas and solutions that meet the needs of the customer.
* To be able to conduct store visits to gain design details and test new products.
* To accurately and proficiently create 2D & 3D CAD models and presentations for visual purposes.
Person Specification
* A minimum of 2+ years’ experience
* A degree, or similar qualification in Product Design or Industrial Design etc
* Confidence and initiative to bring forward ideas and solutions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* An ability to think strategically to meet corporate goals and make appropriate decisions
* Good teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work
* A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment
* The ability to motivate yourself and set your own goals
* A high standard of literacy to ensure effective written communication with a range of people, both internally and externally
* Highly proficient in CAD and Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask, project manage and prioritise your workload
