Excellent opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technician with a proven background in the Residential sector, to join a fast growing Architectural practice based just outside Wolverhampton.
The practice are medium in size, and have had a successful past 18 months despite the obvious pressures that practically all companies and industries have faced in that time. During this period, the practice have grown from 3 members of staff to a team of 11, with the need now for 2 new Architectural Technicians (one senior, one intermediate level).
The growth over the last 18 months is attributed to a number of things, mainly being down to an ever growing client portfolio and project workload. The practice work with some of the top housebuilder names in the Midlands region, and the quality of work produced is so high that their reputation is growing, resulting in demand for their services also growing.
There is now a requirement and opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technician to join the team to work on predominantly new build residential developments. It would be ideal for the Senior Architectural Technician to have worked in a private practice with a focus on Residential work, or coming directly from a housebuilder environment. You will be involved at most stages of the construction cycle, on new build developments from small plots through to multi unit developments.
Requirements of the Senior Architectural Technician as follows:
Degree qualified in Architectural Technology, or a HNC/HND in a related field.
At least 5-10 years experience, ideally in a Residential focused environment.
Fully proficient in the use of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
Experience of being on site and running projects.
Experience of leading a small team would be advantageous.
Living within commutable proximity, with a full UK driving license (desirable).
In return, a competitive salary and benefits package will be offered to the successful Senior Architectural Technician, likely to be in the region of £38,000-£46,000 per annum dependant on experience.
Owing to the need for regular meetings with teams in the office and clients, the practice have returned to full time office working. Flexibility may be offered in extenuating circumstances such as childcare etc, to be discussed with the Director.
