Bower Willis Designs create innovative kitchen and living spaces that meet the needs and exceed the expectations of our discerning clients. We are looking for a talented Kitchen Designer to join our small and busy team, with the opportunity for a varied scope of involvement within our successful family business.
But it's not just private clients that you'll be working with. We also work with local property developers to create bespoke interiors for their homeowners, meeting financial, technical and creative design challenges.

Based in Shipston on Stour, on the border of South Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds, we're looking for someone with a natural warmth, creativity and professionalism to complement our existing team, and are offering a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications of £20,000-£25,000 plus a range of other benefits.

Essential Skills
Confident communication skills are essential to help identify a client's specific requirements and to understand who will use the kitchen and how. You'll be comfortable with exchanging ideas to excite a client's vision, presenting designs and listening to feedback, and discussing choices on styles, colours and finishes throughout the design process.
Creative 'outside of the box' thinking will help you see design opportunities and overcome obstacles within a room, and match a client's aspirations with exciting and innovative designs that can be built as reality in their home.
Spatial awareness, attention to detail, the ability to organise and prioritise and a natural flair for interior design are essential, and a passion for cooking is a definite bonus.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for client site visits is essential, and flexibility to work alone in the showroom at times and on agreed Saturdays may be required.
Desirable Skills
Experience of working with CAD software is advantageous and we will provide full training to help you produce accurate designs and estimates for kitchen designs.
Confident use of Microsoft Office software is required alongside a basic use of Adobe Photoshop.
