Excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technologist with experience working within the Commercial sector, to join a thriving practice with a growing, varied workload, based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
Based in the affluent and prosperous Leamington Spa, this architectural practice has long standing roots in the West Midlands, having developed a reputation for delivering high quality Architectural schemes within the Commercial sector.
As an Architectural Technologist within this practice you will be working across all RIBA stages on a range of building types. Focusing predominantly in the commercial sector, you will be working on a myriad of projects including; schools, offices/workplace, hotels, and other mixed-use developments. The ideal Architectural Technologist will be comfortable working autonomously (assistance will be provided where needed), with particular focus on sound technical knowledge and construction detailing ability. You will be working as part of a wider team to deliver informations packages and projects to programme and budget.
The practice have enjoyed a full return to the office, and encourage a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Given the practice location and the transport links nearby, the position could be open to those living in Birmingham, Coventry, Warwickshire, and possibly areas like Leicester and north Oxfordshire.
Core requirements of the Architectural Technologist:
A degree in Architectural Technology, or a UK recognised equivalent qualification.
Approx. 2-5 years of industry experience.
Experience of working within the Commercial & Education sectors a big advantage.
Experience of using CAD software.
Solid knowledge of UK Building Regs
Experience of working across a range of RIBA work stages.
In return for this position as an Architectural Technologist, you will be offered a salary in the region of £25,000-£32,000 per annum dependant on experience.
