We are looking for a commercially-minded Video Ops Manager to join a fast-paced content agency as part of their creative team. You will have proven experience working in a similar digital environment, an interest in social media platforms, and an aim to drive and improve performance. This permanent, full-time role offers a hybrid working structure, part-remote and partly out of our client's cool creative hub in Birmingham, with a salary of £30k-50k DOE.

Our client is a content agency based in Birmingham that is doing some amazing things on social media and in the world of viral content, with offices spanning the globe. The Role
You will work with the Head of Video to oversee pre-production, production, and postproduction on a number of successful digital shows on social, DOOH and OTT platforms. Your role will include management of people and resources to ensure time and cost efficiency throughout production and ensure high-quality output that meets brand platform and publisher guidelines.
You will:
* Have an interest in social media platforms and digital content along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Proven experience in overseeing, involvement, and fulfilment with end-to-end production, preferably on digital or social shows
* Hands-on editing experience is a bonus!
* Experience in writing edit briefs and organising production
* You will have experience building engagement through clever content strategies
* Understand the importance of thumbnails and know what makes these engaging
* Understand and have the ability to implement techniques to drive engagement and grow a following, for example knowing how to get a specific watch time on content
* Analyse data and monitor and report on performance, with regular updates and suggestions on new KPIs to improve workflows, output criteria, performance, spotting algorithm trends
* Experience in asset management – including packaging of output – and media rights
* A good understanding of social production, especially Snapchat, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Facebook. For example, how technical specifications might differ in each one
* Understanding the importance of ROI and experience in cost and budget management
* Understand the importance of adhering to brand, platform, and publisher guidelines
This role is based in Birmingham and commutable via Solihull, Birmingham, Warwick, Leamington and Coventry to name a few. Our client is also open to some flexible working so if you are a little further afield then still get in touch
