Our London Design team are looking for a Senior Creative Designer to join our rapidly growing team. We are looking for a candidate that will lead design projects, take great pride in their work, think design is more than a job, have multiple great projects to present and excited to grow into a design leadership role. What you're responsible for
Lead exciting projects – varying in size from large to small
Working in close partnership with our clients, providing support and whatever is needed to assist the Client's internal team
Collaborate with your Design Director and all members our team to ensure that our powerful methodology is delivered throughout the entire project life cycle
Communicate with clients, other designers, consultants, technical and construction teams to ensure that we wow our clients
Lead project teams in the management of all design work, including compiling drawings, finish boards and full documentation sets
Create and deliver presentations that wow our clients
Deliver projects that are both beautiful, functional and profitable
Pitch in where-ever needed as a valued member of a cross-functional team
Contribute to our culture of equality, creativity and innovation; think outside the box
Implementing design best standards/practices, processes and technology solutions within the studio, to enhance our team's capability and effectiveness
Identifying and reporting risks to your Design Director, where relevant, whilst operating in compliance with ethical practices
Continually enhancing depth and breadth of design skills, staying current with external market
Your qualifications, skills & experience
Tertiary qualification or equivalent in design-related discipline
Passion for interior design
Experience managing high performing project teams, preferrable on high profile workplace projects
Proficiency in the use of design tools, including Revit CAD, InDesign and Photoshop
Demonstrated willingness to develop existing skills and learn new ones in order to contribute to the team, support our clients and grow within the business
Experience pitching to high profile clients, strong written and verbal presenter
You will be positive and energetic while working under pressure and managing multiple deadlines
You are a true collaborator, able to create strong relationships with those around you and have a desire to learn and understand how our business works
Emotionally intelligent, you enjoy bringing together and coordinating many stakeholders to work towards a common goal
We want you to have opinions and express your thoughts/experience, knowing how to influence and persuade stakeholders to get to the best outcome
Previously worked within the UK and understands the industry/local market
