Superb opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technologist to join a new and exciting company based on the outskirts of Birmingham, West Midlands.
The company in question have been in operation for just over 12 months, run by a young and ambitious Architect that has already built an enviable client portfolio and a reputation in the industry for developing top quality Architectural schemes.
Due to workload increasing exponentially, the practice is in a position now where additional staff members can be taken on, starting with an experienced Architectural Technologist. This is the perfect opportunity for an Architectural Technologist that is looking to push on in their career towards Associate level and beyond. Given the practices current trajectory, there is a very real possibility that you could grow into a Director level position within the practice and be a key figure in the growth of the company.
The practice specialise in high end and luxury Residential property, with projects generally valuing in the £2-5million region. The luxury housing sector is an exciting area to be in, and an area where high quality design and detailing is an essential part of the job. The practice also work within some small scale developments with plots of 5-10 homes at a time, but the one off luxury homes is the bread and butter of the practice.
We are looking for an Architectural Technologist with approximately 6-10 years of industry experience at least, an Architectural Technologist that is comfortable working autonomously, happy to be client facing, and is keen to progress in their career. There's the possibility that this position could suit a technically minded Architect also.
The position will begin being completely remote working, although the Director is currently looking for office space in the Birmingham region. It would therefore be essential that applicants be based in the West Midlands even though the position is initially remote, as there will be some elements of office working going forward.
Requirements of the Architectural Technologist as follows:
Degree in Architectural Technology or a HNC/HND in a related field
At least 5 years of industry experience
Comfortable working autonomously
Comfortable in a client facing role
Job running experience would be advantageous
Vectorworks proficiency would be ideal but not essential
The successful Architectural Technologist will be offered a competitive salary in the region of £30,000-£40,000 dependent on experience, along with discretionary bonus and other perks.
