The Role
Our client is looking for an Intermediate / Senior Design Engineer to join their team to assist with providing bespoke Mechanical and Electrical solutions for projects such as Commercial, industrial and healthcare.
Roles & Responsibilities
As an Intermediate / Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Preparation of technical specifications, design, drawings, equipment schedules, surveys and contract documentation.
Production of energy efficient designs.
Attending meetings to present project design proposals to the project team and the client.
Project surveys which will include site inspections.
Development of new and existing business.
Regular contact with clients to maintain a good working relationship.
Regular monitoring and reviews of junior staff performance.
Identifying new opportunities and company development.
Ensuring marks ups for CAD are accurate, regularly contact with the drawing office to ensure accuracy for construction drawings.
Design co-ordination and audits through out project.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Minimum experience of 8 years in Building Services Design or similar.
HNC or degree in Mechanical, Building Services or related Engineering discipline.
Previous experience with Energy Centre, CHP & Energy projects or healthcare sector.
Have or working towards a membership with a relevant industry body (CIBSE, IMechE, IET).
